JAN-PRO Cleaning Systems Growing in a Challenging Economy
JAN-PRO is not wasting time growing their business. Tom Richter, owner of JAN-PRO Cleaning System states, "We made a conscious decision last July to be very aggressive in our marketing efforts to increase revenues." Because of this strategy, JAN-PRO is up over 27% from 1 year ago. JAN-PRO of Utah is currently ranked as 16th Fastest Growing of the 95 JAN-PRO offices through-out the world.
JAN-PRO made several changes to their System, which has contributed to this growth. All which have cost money but are beginning to pay huge dividends. Each and every change was developed with the customer in mind.
- Jackie Jansen has been promoted to Director of Sales & Operations. This has allowed JAN-PRO a very hands on approach to their customer base both from an acquisition and a retention perspective.
- JAN-PRO hired an additional Sales person to fully penetrate the market place.
- To assist JAN-PRO in getting placed at the top of most search engines, they have teamed up with a Search Engine Optimization Company (SEO). If you search Google or AOL, Commercial Cleaning Utah you will see JAN-PRO at the top of these search engines.
- A Direct Mail Program has been implemented to a select group of targeted customers. JAN-PRO has now identified 11 Vertical Customers segments that they have customized marketing materials, showing the benefits to the customer of using the JAN-PRO services in each segment.
- JAN-PRO has started advertising on FOX13.
- They have implemented an on-line customer survey. This allows customers to voice their opinion of JAN-PRO's services. The company has achieved stellar results and many unsolicited positive comments from their customer base.
- JAN-PRO has implemented a web-based real time inspection process. This allows them to communicate issues quickly to their franchise base. The real-time information enables them to take care of these issues immediately.
All of these changes have helped JAN-PRO to achieve an OUTSTANDING 98.9% Account Retention, where the industry stats show an average of 70% retention. Richter states, "We expect to double our business in the next 3-4 years."
