For example, when UDK is
busy with frozen pipes, they may
receive 40-100 calls in a day for
emergency services. UDK crews
will handle as many as possible
and the rest of the customers will
be placed on a waiting list. If a
Priority Customer calls during
that same time period, they will
be placed at the top of the list for
the next available truck and crew.
Besides this time-saving
benefit, Priority Customers
receive other benefits as well. The
client goes through a preapproval
process which gathers
important data such as building
locations, billing information,
special instructions, phone
numbers and contact people.
This allows UDK to streamline
their response time and begin
working on the loss more quickly.
Additional benefits include a
toll free phone number and
qualified emergency response
operator who will dispatch the
right team of professionals, 24/7,
placing your call ahead of nonpriority
member calls.
UDK also provides their
priority customers with a
convenient plastic card they can
keep in their wallet or purse. The
card has the dedicated toll free
number on it and the customer's
Priority Access Code.
When a property loss occurs,
the client calls the dedicated line
and tells the emergency operator
that they are a Priority Customer
and gives them their code. The
operator then passes on the
information and UDK is able to
look up the customer's
information and quickly respond
the loss with the appropriate
equipment.
Through UDK's quick
mitigating action, property
owners will minimize secondary
damage and reduce interruption
of business.
The Emergency Response
Priority Program is a free service
for qualified clients. There is no
