Big-D Construction Ranks Among Largest in Nation

Big-D Construction Corporation has been ranked among the top 400 contractors in the nation by Engineering News Record (ENR) Magazine. The New York-based publication, which provides an annual ranking of the nation's top contractors based upon total revenue, ranked Big-D Construction 96 in the nation for 2009; up from 115 in 2008, a 25 percent revenue increase.
This is the twenty-first consecutive year Big-D has earned a spot in the listing. ENR listed Big-D's total revenue for 2008 in excess of $688 million.
"While this is a great benchmark of our continued success, it is in large part due to our loyal customer base," said Rob Moore, president of Big-D Construction. "Over 96 percent of our projects were with repeat customers, and the majority are right here in Utah."
According to ENR senior editor, Gary Tulaez, the ranking places Big-D Construction in the top one-quarter of one percent of contractors in the United States. "This listing represents over 100,000 licensed building and heavy highway contractors throughout the nation and approximately one-quarter of one percent of all licensed contractors," Tulaez said.
